March 9 2020, Cinderella Trophy News
By Nigel Ford

As the pantomime curtain finally comes down I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all twenty three societies across the county who have entered the Cinderella Trophy Competition this season.

This has been another exceptional year as standards continue to get higher and higher. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with every group and there has certainly been some very memorable moments. From the depths of a sewer pit to a delightful cottage garden I have loved every production.

Your task is completed and ours now begins – to find a winner. What a tough job this is going to be!

Of course there are no losers in the world of pantomime and I applaud you all on another magnificent year.

I look forward to welcoming you all at our Cinderella Awards Evening on Saturday 18th April. Our new venue being Haselbury Mill, Crewkerne. As a reminder, following feedback from last year’s trial, the committee has decided there will be no nominations announced in advance this year.

Tickets are already selling fast so try not to leave it too late!

Congratulations to you all once again.
