Cinderella Trophy News
The panto season has started! Where are the dull days when there are no traditional family pantos to enjoy? They’re behind you! Once again men are dressing as women, girls become boys, baddies are emerging from their dark lairs and there is magic, music and mayhem in the air. It can only mean one thing: pantomime!
SFD Moderator Nigel Ford has enjoyed his first foray of the year into pantoland as he headed to Roadwater on the edge of the Exmoor national Park to enjoy their original pantomime, The Rat King. You can read his review on Sunday morning.
Nigel has a busy time ahead of him as there are several pantomimes for him to enjoy this side of Christmas and several early in the New Year. In a season that has been slightly extended this year, pantomimes will run into March and even April so he, and his team of adjudicators, have a lot to look forward to.
If you are in the midst of panto rehearsals and have not yet entered our annual panto competition, The Cinderella Trophy, there is still time to get your entries in. Contact the competition coordinator Pam Price. All the details are on our website.
